It is made from solid plantation grown wood and is beautifully cherry finished with automated and hand-rubbed techniques for a rich and durable finish. This Bunk Bed includes guard rails all around the top bunk with a sturdy ladder built at a comfortable climbing angle. The cinnamon twin drawers and cinnamon twin trundle with slats are optional.

 | Made from Environmentally Friendly Rubberwood Prized as environmentally friendly wood, Rubberwood makes use of trees that have been cut down at the end of their latex-producing cycle. Unlike other woods that are cut down for the sole purpose of producing furniture, Rubberwood is used after it completes its latex producing cycle. The name Rubberwood often invokes a variety of misconceptions as to its features and to its durability. In fact, Rubberwood is one of the more durable lumbers used in the manufacturing of today's home furnishings.
As an "environmentally friendly" feature, Rubberwood trees are harvested for their latex each year. In the past when the rubber tree reached the end of its viable tapping stage, it would be chopped and burnt to make room for another tree. The wood is now being used extensively in furniture and other uses. And given their large size, a single tree can provide a great deal of timber.
