The 4/6 extension, metal frame with caster, deluxe heavy duty frame, dual function underbed storage unit, and mattress support system are optional.
What is dual-function underbed storage? It is a set of pull-out drawers that go underneath the lower bed. It can accommodate an eight-inch-thick mattress, so you can use it as a trundle bed for extra sleeping space AND as extra storage space.
